Those are heavy duty shelves and can be used as kitchen floating shelves and book shelves to store dishes and books. Each bracket can hold up to 35 lb per stud. Our floating shelves are made with love and passion. Those shelves will have knots and imperfections to achieve a rustic look. Each shelf will differ from the rest because each piece of wood is unique. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of each piece of wood's uniqueness.
